🚨 WE ARE SO CLOSE. LIKE… SO CLOSE. 🚨👀

The new stand is officially in the FINAL STRETCH! 🎉🥖🌻

We’ve got just a few finishing touches left to put on it, and then this little baby will officially be heading to its NEW LOCATION! 🥹✨

We have been working our BUTTS off trying to get everything ready, and I truly can’t wait to finally open the doors and let you guys see it in person!

But honestly… this means SO much to us. 🥹💚💛

This little business has grown because of the support, encouragement, and love we’ve received from this community. Every order, every visit to the stand, every follow, share, kind message, and person who has told a friend about us has helped get us to this point.

Getting to open a second stand and share even more of what we’re creating with the Howell community is something we’re incredibly excited and grateful for. We couldn’t do this without you. 🥹

We are ALL STOCKED UP and ready for your Saturday carb cravings! 😂🙌🏼 Fresh goodies are heading to the stand, and we’ve got some VERY exciting things happening this week!

🍎 REVAMPED APPLE CIDER SWIRL — this one is GUSHING with apples! 🍎🤤 We gave it a little makeover and I am OBSESSED with how it turned out.

🥯 NEW & IMPROVED BAGELS — because apparently I cannot leave anything alone until I’m completely satisfied. 😂 After some experimenting, tweaking, and a whole lot of “let’s try this ONE more time”… I think we nailed them!

Okay but can we just take a MOMENT?! 😂🥯

A customer reached out LAST MINUTE and asked if I could make 20 BAGELS for them.

Twenty.
T W E N T Y.
Like… people actually want to buy my bagels in bulk?! 😭😂

So naturally, I said YES and immediately went into full-on sourdough mom baker panic mode. 😂

And then I MADE THEM.
And I PACKED THEM UP.
And I DELIVERED 20 FREAKING BAGELS. 🥯🥯🥯

I don’t know why this feels like such a huge milestone, but it does. When I started this little sourdough adventure, I never imagined I’d be casually delivering orders of 20 bagels like I know what I’m doing. 😂

I am SO freaking proud of this little business and every single person who has trusted me with their bread, bagels, cookies, cinnamon rolls, and all the other things coming out of my kitchen.

Anyway… just over here casually having my “holy crap, I’m actually doing this” moment. 🥹❤️

Except apparently when I overproof sourdough. 😂

Because instead of crying over the dough I definitely meant to keep an eye on, I turned that overproofed mess into APPLE PIE FOCACCIA. 🍎🥧

And y’all… SHE DID NOT DISAPPOINT. 👏🏼

So naturally, because I have absolutely no self-control when it comes to adding things to the menu…

Warm cinnamon apples, sweet buttery goodness, and that sourdough focaccia magic. Basically apple pie decided it wanted to be bread. And honestly? I support her. 😂

🚨 MENU UPDATE — because apparently I needed to do more homework. 😂

Okay friends… we had to make a couple of changes to this week’s menu after realizing that Michigan Cottage Food Law and alcohol content do not exactly want to be besties. 🤦‍♀️

So, before I accidentally land myself in trouble, we are pivoting!

🍞 Guinness & English Cheddar Loaf — pulled from this week’s flight
🥓🥃 Maple Bacon Bourbon Cinnamon Rolls — pulled from the menu

Instead, just for this week, I’m swapping the flights over to a Classic Mini Loaf, and the cinnamon rolls will become Maple Bacon Cinnamon Rolls. 🙌

I also want to take a little time to do my homework and make sure I get the new cinnamon roll recipe absolutely PERFECT before putting them out. Those will be available Friday! ❤️

BUT… there is some good news! 🎉

🍎 APPLE PIE FOCACCIA HAS JOINED THE PARTY. 🍎

Because when life gives you lemons… or you accidentally overproof your dough… apparently you make apple pie focaccia. 😂 And honestly, I’m not mad about it.

I am SO sorry for the letdown and confusion! But I’m also really glad we caught this before I got myself in trouble. 😅

Apparently running a tiny bakery involves baking AND reading legal documents. Who knew?! 🤣

Thank you guys for rolling with my chaos and supporting my little business while I figure all of this out. ❤️

Okayyyy… I may have accidentally unlocked a new bagel obsession. 👀🥯

I decided to switch things up and try a molasses bath instead of my usual honey bath for these sourdough bagels… and LOOK. 👏 AT. 👏 THAT. 👏 COLOR. 😍

That gorgeous deep, golden-brown color?! I am OBSESSED. And yes, I stood there staring at them like a proud mom because apparently this is what my life has become. 😂

The real test, of course, is going to be the taste… but judging by how these turned out, I have a VERY good feeling about this experiment.

I seriously cannot wait for everyone to try these at the stand! 🥯❤️
