New Park Pizzeria in Howard Beach was where I had my very first slice in 1959. I was visiting my Aunt Mary’s family in Old Howard Beach when my cousin Joey G., the “cheech from Howard Beach,” brought me there. It was delicious then, and it was just as good last night. For generations, it’s been the place where hardworking Queens families stop in for a slice and a Coke.
