The month of June was a busy one for us! We are excited to be so close to opening. We'll be ramping up our posts to show some behind the scenes and previews of some menu items.

Pictured today:

1) New sails and address added to the front
2) Chef Chris added an ordering shelf to our window
3) Making pickles for one of our sandwiches
4) Toasted coconut for one of our syrups
5) Testing out a toasted marshmallow syrup
6) Our ice machine works

Had an eventful month of May! One step closer....

• got a couple of new tables for the turf
• made our house made caramel & started working on syrups
• added some landscaping around the caboose
• got our hood lights installed and unwrapped our pizza oven from

Excited for what the month of June brings. (Hopefully us opening)

⭐️ First look at the caboose all lit up at night !! ⭐️

Can't wait for everyone to see it in person. Last night was our first time seeing it at night with all the lights on and we were blown away. Feeling very grateful and excited! It's happening yall... soon.

We are getting ready to order our T shirts and wanted to see if this was something you would be interested in buying?

We had like 10 people reach out about buying a hat so thought we would open this up as well so we could figure out how many to order and what range of sizes.

FYI - the grey on the shirt Amanda's wearing will be a little darker, and they'll have our logo on the front pocket.

Who needs some fresh pasta ?!

We will be at 2509 Alabama along with and tons of other great vendors this Saturday the 18th from 9-2 pm.

We'll be selling:
• Lumache
• Bucatini
• Mafaldine
• Radiatore

This is our first market in the loop so if you'd like to preorder send us a DM or text ! We sell them by the bag which is 1 lb.

Did we mention that it freezes really well and is good for 3 months !!

Let us introduce you to our Chef/partner Chris Zettlemoyer.

1) he hates attention so he won't like this lol but it was his birthday Saturday.

2) He loves LSU, Legos, Starwars, and music especially red dirt country

3) he's been cooking since he was a teenager and studied under Chef John Folse. He's been in the industry over 30 years and has ran kitchens all over the country from Denver to La and Katy to now east downtown Houston.

Cant wait for you to taste what Chef Chris has been working on. Also lets us know if you're down to collab Chef Chris loves cooking all cuisines and we have done some great collabs with & as well as a fun pop up at

Now it's starting to feel real real! We are so excited to share that some of our power has been connected and we have lights!
