"Hey coffee people, it's Dow again :) Hope 2026 has treated you well so far! We recently got a new coffee from Ethiopia, the Guji Dimtu Organic, that I can’t get enough of! With notes of cherry, tropical fruits and yuzu, vanilla, hibiscus, and honey, it has a sweet fruity flavor, and, unlike many Ethiopian coffees, this one’s acidity is much milder, making it more accessible to people with more delicate stomachs (like me!). If you were a fan of one of our previous limited offerings, Ethiopia Mokamba, or just in the mood to try something new and fruity, give this one a shot!" - Dow

"This coffee was my first staff pick when I started working at House of Coffee Beans, and I'm so happy y'all get to experience it again as the February Flavor of the Month! It's still just as delicious as I remember it and is the perfect sweet treat. The buttery caramel notes add just a touch of sweetness to the classic coffee taste of our Brazil bean. It's perfect served either hot or cold, but I personally prefer this one served as an iced coffee." - Chesli

Have you tried our Sumatra Mandheling yet? Sumatra is a distinctive area for Indonesian coffee production. It's a volcanic island with good elevation and fertile volcanic soil, which are two great characteristics for successful coffee cultivation. Our Sumatran coffee is an earthier coffee with notes of dark chocolate, molasses, and dried fruit. It also has a milder, winey acidity to it, so this would be a great pick for fans of our Indian Monsooned Malabar to try. Come grab a bag today!

Have y'all heard the news? We have a new coffee available for a limited time only. Introducing - ETHIOPIA GUJI DIMTU GR. 1 ORGANIC! This new Guji has notes of cherry, tropical fruit, hibiscus, honey, vanilla, and yuzu, and is roasted to a light medium, which really lets those fruity and floral notes shine. This coffee also has a milder acidity compared to the other African coffees on our standard menu. It's highly recommended by several staff members here, and we all think you should give it a try! If you were a fan of our standard Guji that is temporarily unavailable, give this one a shot! Customers who have tried the Guji have fallen in love with it. You won't be disappointed.

We’ve been watching the winter storm forecast closely and here are our hours for the weekend.

Saturday: We’ll be open regular hours (10-6) so you can make sure you’ve got some great coffee to keep you warm for the storm.

Sunday: Closed

Monday: Still to be decided. Please keep an eye on social media for an update about Monday or call the retail store to confirm that we’re open before making a trek over in the cold weather.

Introducing January's Flavor of the Month: S'mores! This flavored coffee will have you wishing you were next to a crackling campfire beneath the stars. Its perfect blend of chocolate, toasted marshmallow, and graham cracker evokes everyone's favorite camping treat. Highly recommended by several of our staff members!
