A whole fish deserves a table with time to get through it. Tilapia fried until the skin gives way, served with rice, salad, and lime. It is the quiet order on our menu and one of the best.

Our Special Tibs is the one dish on the menu that carries our own name. Lamb is sautéed with onion, jalapeño, and tomato, then brought to the table in cast iron. Injera takes the place of a fork.

Doro wat has been on our menu since we opened in 1994, and it remains the dish our guests order most.

Chicken is simmered in berbere with onion and spiced butter, cooked slowly until the sauce is dark and full, then served with a whole egg. Injera takes the place of a fork.
