A reminder that there’s always more to a small business than what you see from the outside. 💜

It’s easy to look at a business and judge its location, its appearance, or what you think it should be — especially when you’ve never seen what happens behind the scenes.

What you don’t see are the early mornings, the late nights, the endless prep, the rising costs, the mistakes we learn from, the sacrifices made to keep the doors open, and the countless hours spent trying to make every sandwich and every piece of focaccia something we can be proud of.

Our location may not be the fanciest. We know that. But a building doesn’t make the food, and a location doesn’t tell the story of the people inside it.

We’re a small, family-run business that has poured a lot of heart, time, money, sweat, and faith into building something of our own.

So when someone is quick to say, “I’d never eat there,” or dismiss us because of where we’re located, it’s worth remembering that there are real people behind that business — people who are working incredibly hard to make it work.

And thankfully, for every critic, there are customers who actually stop by, try the food, come back, tell their friends, leave a kind review, and remind us why we started in the first place. 💜
