Haute Texan Tacos is no more. Thanks for your patronage. The traileris still around and I will be doing something fun with it, just don't know what yet. You can find me Chefing at Canopy now, so come by and see me.

Tonight we will be working the trailer with H-Town strEATS at Big Star Bar on 19th street just west of Durham. We will open after the Roller Derby bout around 7PM. C U there!

We already felt lucky enough having stumbled upon Oh My! Pocket Pies in our neighborhood while out enjoying the sun...

Also planning fresh chocolate croissants, hot breakfast sandwiches served on croissant, fresh muffins and locally roasted coffee. You will be able to tour the bakery when you stop by and see the fresh breads being baked. SlowDough is also currently in the process of building out part of the bakery into retail bread sales, so you can pick up a fresh loaf for dinner!

While considering a menu for our new test concept using SlowDough artisan breads, we deep fried Ciabatta dough then rolled it in cinnamon sugar and ate it warm. WOW! Better than donuts, better than beignets!!!! That will definitely be on the breakfast menu.

Some people have commented that they have seen the trailer for sale. I'm just fishing, don't know for sure whether or not I will sell. I'll keep you posted...

Update: We will only be opening periodically until our bi-polar weather's meds start to kick in (meaning when spring gets here). Very limited menu so don't rush over unless you want Chips and Queso or Beef or Chicken Fajitas. I will post when we are selling other tacos and Fried Avocados.
