As a historical side note: We are the same Demeris family who for years provided fast-and-friendly quality service at Carol's Kitchen on South Shepherd and Shipley's Grill on West Gray. The second generation of Demerises have spent a lifetime in training (no joke!) and are committed to keeping the Demeris name #1 in Houston.

This Memorial Day, we’re reminded that the holiday is about more than gathering with friends, enjoying great bar-b-q, and a long weekend.

It’s a day to honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country and the freedoms we enjoy every day.

As families come together, we pause in gratitude for those who made those moments possible.
