Everyone at Paulie’s & Camerata—staff and family alike—has been humbled and moved by the outpouring of love and support you’ve shown us every single day since we shared the news of our closing. You never stopped lifting us up, and we’re grateful for the butt-kicking that comes with this industry.
We’ve been touched beyond words by messages from people we’ve never even met, sharing heartfelt stories of what Paulie’s meant to them—how it felt like home, how it wove itself into their lives. The sadness you’re feeling breaks our hearts, because we feel it too. But some of you have shared something deeper: a real worry for Montrose, for what losing places like ours means to this neighborhood.
Paulie’s was never just a restaurant. It was fresh, honest food made with care; a warm, dependable family of people who truly loved looking after you; real connections—with the guests who kept our lights on (and became dear friends), with our fellow restaurateurs, and with the traditions handed down through generations of our Italian family. We served the same food we eat at home to this day. Nothing phony, nothing forced—just authentic, from the heart.
No stars, no awards, no “best of” lists could ever touch our souls the way your love has these past two months. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. You’ve made us feel seen, cherished, and deeply loved.
Closing Paulie’s has been the hardest decision we’ve ever made, but I’m also excited for what comes next. This chapter has changed my life, and I hope you’ll stay close for the next one.
Thank you!
