Hello everyone,

We would like to kindly clarify a recent situation regarding a tipping concern related to a recent visit at Dakao Restaurant & Bar.

After reviewing our POS records on a togo transaction with our security camera footage, we found that the tip was entered by the customer during the checkout process. Our staff did not add, modify, or touch the tip option at any time.

We would also like to clarify that Dakao Restaurant & Bar does not charge any service fees on togo transactions.

For transparency, we are sharing the video of the checkout process so everyone can better understand what took place.

If the customer feels that the tip amount was not intended or believes the waiters did not deserve the tip that was selected, she is always welcome to visit the restaurant and we will be happy to assist with a refund.

We truly appreciate all feedback and remain committed to treating every guest with respect and providing the best service we can.
