For our penultimate post, we’re firing up the Bat-Signal to ask any restaurant managers or owners to let us know if they’re hiring! We have several fantastic line cooks, grill cooks, kitchen and scullery crew, bussers, bartenders and servers with experience at the best restaurant in the world and as of tomorrow, Sunday, March 29th they’re all looking for jobs. And on that note, we also very proudly present our Last Ever Newest Employee, outstanding bartender Julie! She reminds us that she wasn’t hired too late, she was hired just in time to be part of our gang before we close. 🥰

After a hiatus of nearly eight months, the Raven Grill Menu Bracket is BACK! This time it’s a mini-bracket with eight Raven Grill Sunday Brunch menu items each vying for the top spot. We’re starting with two brunch classics.

Our French Toast with rustic white French bread marinated in an orange essence egg batter and served with maple syrup and bacon. We said maple syrup and bacon.

The Brunch Quiche, baked fresh next door at our Picnic Box Lunches restaurant, is served with mixed greens and Balsamic Vinaigrette.

The winner – based on the closest match to the total number of votes for each – gets the delicious Raven Grill entrée of her or his choice and a bottle of wine, second place scores an appetizer and a bottle of wine, both bottles courtesy of MBG Morales Beverage Group, and third place will enjoy a free appetizer and a frosty pint of craft beer.

Ahhhhhhhhh our current delicious fresh catch, Bronzed Grouper . . . not to be confused with the best villain of all time, Hans Gruber.
Pan-seared grouper with light blackening seasoning and chimichurri sauce. Served with herb rice and sautéed spinach.

Valentine's Day is almost here and we look forward to seeing you next Friday or Saturday – or both! – to enjoy our delicious Valentine's Prix Fixe menu plus a selection of special Valentine's Cocktails including:

* Bitter Hearts Know Better – A tart-sweet balance of hibiscus-infused gin, lime, strawberry and mint rounded by gentle bitterness finished with a pink sugar kiss.

* Bourbon & Berries – Smooth bourbon stirred with strawberry-vanilla and warm spice, served rich and cozy with a fresh berry finish.

* Love Nest – A bright citrus vodka blend topped with blood orange soda. Playful and bubbly with a sweet-heat chili thread nest and candy hearts on top.
