It all began back in 1990, when Pearland had only one high school and O’Day Rd pushed the city limits.

Struggling to provide for a family of five, Simon and Mary Zavala invested their life savings to start a family business that catered to the spirit of the hard-working people of the community….and thus, Juanito’s Mexican Restaurant was born. Word spread fast about our uniquely flavorful Mexican cuisine and our passion and commitment to quality service. It didn't take long before friends and neighb

ors asked for the recipe to our signature hot sauce and green sauce – a secret that is well guarded to this day. Today, Juanito’s remains a central figure of the Pearland landscape as we have been serving the community for over the past 24 years. The warm atmosphere and family-focused attitude is the benchmark of our success and remains the focal point of our commitment and beliefs. We take pride in living a set of shared core values that govern our relationship with our customers and community. Our success is measured by the value we provide the people that we serve. Hello everyone! We wanted to come on here and let everyone know that Juanito's will unfortunately be closing next week on June 1st. After an amazing 34 years, we have decided to sell our restaurant to our friends, Iguanas Ranas Cantina Pearland.

From the bottom of our hearts, we want to THANK YOU for your continued support and love throughout the years. 34 years is an amazing milestone, and we couldn't have done it without you all. Y'all have become so much more than customers to us- you are our family. And while it is a bittersweet ending, we are so grateful to look back at our time at Juanito's with fond memories and friends to last a lifetime.
Please feel free to come by and have a meal with us for the last time this week! We would love to see everyone and close out this chapter with YOU!
