While Houston sleeps, our ovens are already on. 🌙

Every croissant is laminated by hand. Every dough is mixed right here. The bread in your lunch sandwich came out of the oven around 4 AM.

No shortcuts and no mass-production machines. Just the way Chef Patrice learned it in France.

Chef Patrice Ramain left a family of bakers in France, landed in Houston, and shortly after opened French Gourmet Bakery with his wife Mary, back in 1973🥐

More than 50 years later we are still on Westheimer, still baking everything by hand, and Lauren is the fifth generation to do it.
