Since 1928, Berryhill’s homemade tamales have been a Houston tradition, thanks to Walter Berryhill who thrilled Houstonians with this Mexican comfort food. Still in business almost 100 years later, you might say Berryhill knows a little something about Baja Tacos and Tex Mex. The Berryhill location in the Heights opened its doors in 2004, delighting locals with unique take on Baja Tacos, Tex Mex a
nd margaritas. Decades later, we’re thankful to still be serving our community the same great Baja Tacos and Tex Mex that many profess to be the best in Houston. Our Baja-themed, laid back atmosphere helps dine-in guests relax so they can fully enjoy an incredible dining experience. We serve lunch and dinner weekdays, and offer all-day breakfast tacos - because they’re just that good! Menu “must-try” items include all our Baja Tacos, in particular, our famous fish taco, fajitas, the Parmesan Crusted Basa Filet, and of course the hand-rolled tamales that started it all. We also serve brunch with Mexican breakfast favorites from 9-11:30 am on Saturdays and Sundays. Our entire menu is available for dine-in, take-out, curbside pick-up, and delivery. We also offer full-service catering, and private event areas for parties. Equally loved by our guests is the Berryhill Bar, which is fully-stocked with all your favorite beers, wines, mixed drinks and more. And not to toot our own horn, but our Margaritas are the BOMB! We also have specially created Cantina Cocktails that have developed quite a fan-following. Happy Hour is Monday – Friday from 2-6 pm, and $5 house margaritas are available on Wednesdays from 4-8 pm and all-day Saturdays.
