It is with heartfelt gratitude that we announce the closing of Herand’s Kitchen.

Over the past two years, what began as Herand’s passion for sharing his Armenian, Persian and Mediterranean flavors grew into something truly special. Herand’s Kitchen received multiple awards and recognitions, including being named one of Houston’s best new restaurants and one of the city’s top Greek restaurants. We were also honored to maintain a 4.8-star rating on Google and to be featured by the Houston Chronicle, Eater Houston, Visit Houston and other local news outlets.

These achievements reflect the care, quality and hard work Herand put into every dish he served but none of it would have been possible without the incredible support of our customers, friends and followers.

After much thought, Herand has decided that the time is right to step away from the restaurant and begin a new chapter. We are immensely proud of everything Herand’s Kitchen accomplished and grateful for the friendships, memories and wonderful moments created along the way.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for dining with us, recommending us, sharing our posts and supporting our family business. It has been an amazing journey, and your support has meant more to us than words can express.

🏆 What an incredible milestone for Herand’s Kitchen!

We are truly honored to be recognized as the Best Mediterranean Restaurant in Northside Houston for 2026.

When we opened our doors, our goal was simple: serve authentic, high-quality food, welcome every guest like family, and create a place where people could gather around great meals and great conversations.

To receive this recognition less than two years into our journey is something we are deeply grateful for.

This award belongs to our amazing customers who have supported us from day one, shared their experiences, left reviews, brought their friends and families, and helped spread the word about our little corner of Houston.

We are humbled by this recognition and excited for what lies ahead. We promise to continue serving the authentic Mediterranean flavors and warm hospitality that brought us here.
