Wassup Beanie Faninies!

We want to introduce you to our not so new Barista and Bean.

Meet Jamie ! They have been on the squad for a few months now but we haven’t had the chance to highlight them yet! Jamie’s favorite drink is a classic flat white sometimes with caramel if they are “feeling saucy!” 😉. We are so incredibly honored to have them on the team and are excited for them to serve you soon!

Our newish bean is from Muinami Estate in the Western Rift Valley of Kenya. This coffee is incredible special, while most Kenyan coffee is washed process this coffee is processed as an anaerobic natural. This process shows of intensely sweet and fruit notes and often leads to a heavier body. In this coffee we can still pull out the terroir specific profile that is well known from Kenya while adding that extra kick of flavor. We don’t have a lot of this coffee left so be sure to grab a bag before it’s gone. We proudly sourced this coffee with .

We’ve gathered the usual suspects. Step into Clue Heights and take a seat, the case is already unfolding. This season’s Alchemy Menu leans into smoky parlors, whispered alibis, and a cast of characters you’re not sure you can trust. Follow the clues, trust your palate, and see if you can piece it together before the last sip.

The Femme Fatale
A clarified milk punch Sprocktail infused with chamomile, white nectarine, crisp apple, and lemon. Served up, crowned with a fan of thinly sliced apple and a whisper of orange blossom aroma.

Yesterday, .m.mcintyre visited one of our favorite producers, Esmeralda Mendoza Garcia, in Jinotega, Nicaragua.

Esmeralda was the very first producer we had the privilege of partnering with on an impact project. Together, we helped her and her family build a beneficio (wet mill) — swipe to slides 4 & 5 to see it — giving them the ability to process their own coffee.

We’re incredibly grateful for the support of our community, which allows us to invest in inspiring producers like Esmeralda. There’s still more work to be done on the mill, but we’re so proud of how far it’s come.

A huge thank you to our partners for helping make this possible and for working with us to invest in the future of coffee in Nicaragua.

This winter, take a trip through time with us and rediscover what the holiday season is truly about. Our newest seasonal menu, A Christmas Carol, draws inspiration from the ghosts: Marley, The Past, The Present, and The Future. Cozy warmth meets biting cold, and tradition is reimagined through our lens of craft and curiosity.
