First, thank you.
To everyone who has donated, shared our campaign, stopped by the cafés, or simply sent us an encouraging message — thank you for reminding us how incredible this community is. Because of you, we've raised over $3K so far.
We wanted to share what your support has already helped us accomplish.
Over the last two weeks, we've been able to start catching up on payments to several of our vendors. We've also been able to get caught up on employee tip payouts. Taking care of the people and businesses that make CCJC possible has always been one of our biggest priorities, and we're grateful to finally make progress in those areas.
One of our landlords agreed to split our July rent into three payments that will be added to our August, September, and October rent. That flexibility gives us a little more breathing room as we continue working through this season, and we're incredibly thankful for their willingness to work with us.
Our next big milestone is August 10, when our next rent payment is due.
While we've made meaningful progress, we're not across the finish line yet. Aside from our upcoming rent payment, we're still working to catch up on our remaining vendor balances and business insurance payments. Every donation continues to help us catch up, keep moving forward, and give the operational changes we've made the time they need to work.
We'll continue sharing updates along the way because we want everyone supporting this campaign to know exactly how your generosity is making a difference.
