Good morning,

I was called by the Blackwood Educational Land Institute to do a tea class at their Farm this afternoon at 2 pm.

This is a free class for the public, and you can also tour the whole farm, which has 33 acres. This tour is guided by Cath Conlon, founder of Blackwood. Tours begins at 1pm.

If you are interested to take your family there, you could have a lot of fresh air and fun and taste some teas.

Support our local coffee bakery kitchen . Here, you could find this Avocado toast on a wonderful croissant, crispy with egg goat cheese, pickled onion and tomato and graciously include arugula as well. Good job! This kitchen knows what they are selling.

A full moon and the Mid-Autumn Festival is near!

Tomorrow, Saturday October 4, we will have a tea tasting and moon cakes at Blackwood Educational Land Instutute, 27145 Rock Island Rd, Hempstead, TX. Tea tastings will be at 1 pm and 2 pm. Come join us at the farm!

We’re on TV! It was fun to support Houston Asiatown Tours to promote Houston’s dim sum culture and teas.

Houston is one of the most diverse cities in America and now, local students are getting the chance to experience that diversity up close, totally free of charge. Thanks to a grant from the Southwest Management District, Houston Asiatown Tours is opening the doors for 5th–12th graders to explore the culture, history, and food of Houston’s Asiatown without ever leaving the city.
