Go follow our two new businesses! Thank you for all your support all these years from my Insurance Agency, Yard Works, Solo Farms, Hungry Holler & Swirly’s Ice Cream.

Imagine it……Two 20 something year olds sitting at their camp site with their tiny old camper, their oldest daughter riding her toy car around & they are dreaming of living at the lake when they get “older” Well “older” got here in a blink of an eye. Lol!! So during those 30 years of dreaming we were busy raising our kids, building businesses & careers, & summer lake time.
So here we are! We can’t wait to meet & build relationships with you & are excited about sharing our food & hospitality with you.
We know the biggest question is, when are you opening? We will be doing some construction & adding some things at The Ridge Resort & Hook’s Bar & Grill. Keep an eye on each business page for updates

To say that 2 20ish year olds (a few years ago 🤣) dreamed of retiring at the lake. Look at us our dreams came true! Has it taken lots of work over the years & never gave up yes it has. Lots & lots of prayers with our prayer warriors 💗

So that being said we have purchased a Resort 1 mile from Pontiac Marina on BullShoals Lake. We will be sharing our new social media pages soon. We will have a Bar & Grill on the property along with our Swirly’s Ice Cream trailer.

We want to thank Jennifer Williams with helping out with all our banking needs. We can’t say enough good things about Jennifer for helping our dreams come true. She truly is the BEST!!!! If you are looking for the “hometown “ banker she is the one!

We also want to thank our dear friend Amanda York for being our realtor. She is more than a friend to us, her & her family are like family to us. We told her what we were doing & she got our properties sold quick!! If you’re looking for a realtor don’t hesitate to call her!!

We just want to say THANK YOU to all that supported us! We have closed SOLO FARMS & HUNGRY HOLLER. You have supported our family from us selling, plants, flowers, produce, baked items, ice cream & our farm to table & made from scratch food. It’s now time for our next chapter in life.
