🔥 Get ready for the hottest event of the summer!

Houston Heights 19th Street is hosting the annual White Linen Night on August 1st, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and Shandy's is ready to party!

With last year's event drawing a massive crowd of over 14,000 attendees, we are expecting record numbers this year! To make sure everyone stays safe, has fun, and gets served quickly, here is what you need to know for the night:

Event Tickets Required:
Please remember that the 19th Street event footprint requires an official ticket for entry this year. Be sure to purchase your event tickets in advance at [https://www.wlnon19th.com/](https://www.wlnon19th.com/) before heading over!

Dine-In, Menu, & House Policies:

- First-Come, First-Served: Because of the huge crowd size, we will not be taking reservations—seating is strictly first-come, first-served.
- Limited Event Menu: We are running a streamlined menu for the evening, but don't worry—Shandy's famous fried chicken wings and cheeseburgers will definitely be available!
- Purchases & Restrooms: All customers visiting the restaurant are expected to make a purchase. Please note that our restrooms are reserved for paying customers only.

Beverage Booth Across the Street:
Just looking to grab a quick drink and keep exploring? We will have a pop-up beverage booth located directly across the street from the restaurant.

Wristbands & Entry Policy:
We will be checking IDs at the door and issuing wristbands to guests 21 and over. Please have your valid ID out and ready to help our hard-working security team and servers keep lines moving smoothly.

Pro-Tip: Ride Share!
With record crowds incoming, parking on 19th Street will be extremely limited. Ride-sharing is strongly encouraged.

If you're planning out your July 4th, here is a quick reminder: we’ll be open and serving up fresh meals, but we are closing early at 3:00 PM so our crew can go spend time with friends and family.

Your stool at the bar is waiting. Slide on in, grab a cold drink, and let us handle the kitchen duties. There’s always a good story swapping at the counter, and we’d love to catch up before the holiday weekend kicks into full gear.

Because we are hosting a major celebration, we have a few temporary schedule changes you’ll want to note for your weekend plans:

➡️ Saturday Evening: We will be closing early at 9:00 PM to get everything prepped.

➡️ Sunday: We will be CLOSED all day for a private party.

We’ve been whipping up a private batch of ultra-creamy Homemade Mac & Cheese that is officially rivaling the best of the best. It is pure, classic comfort food, but with a subtle, smoky, and slightly sweet warmth that sneaks up on you and keeps you coming back for "just one more bite." Shandy literally cannot stop eating it.

We are looking for two reliable, high-energy individuals to join our team at our 19th Street location. If you’re looking for a fast-paced environment in the heart of one of Houston’s most vibrant neighborhoods, we want to hear from you!

🥪 Sandwich Maker (Day Shift)

Hours: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
The Role: Handling fresh prep and assembly during our busy lunch service.
Requirement: Valid Texas Food Handler Certificate required.

🍽️ Server (Evening Shift)

Hours: 4:00 PM – 11:00 PM
The Role: Providing warm, attentive service to our dinner and evening guests.
Requirements: Valid TABC and Texas Food Handler certificates required.

Located right on 19th Street, Shandy’s is in the center of the action. We see significant crowds during:

- Heights Theatre event nights
- White Linen Night & Lights in the Heights
- The Holiday Season and other bustling 19th Street festivities
