Omi’s 21st Birthday Cake✨
I made a homemade, layered vegan white cake with vegan vanilla icing.
I looked over a few white cake recipes on Pinterest and put together my own creation. Omi doesn’t care for fruit inside cakes, so I came up with a dairy free butter cream filling to put in between each layer. I used Wholesome Organic Vanilla Icing from Whole Foods. I wasn’t able to make the icing myself because I didn’t have a power mixer.
It was a great success for Omi’s family celebration for her 21st birthday. Everyone enjoyed it and they were surprised it was vegan.

Hi everyone!
I wanted to give you brief summary of Moo Moo’s Vegan Cupcakes for my first post- the plan, the cupcakes, the inspiration and vision.

As most of you know, I love to bake and eventually I will open a vegan bakery/cafe. At the moment, I don’t bake enough and I have not ran my own business, so this is how I decided to push myself to finally start.
Alex helped me come up with the theme of Moo Moo, my brother’s puppy. Her real name is Gamora, but she looks like a little cow so Alex and I couldn’t help but give her the adorably appropriate nickname. Then we brainstormed and came up with a business concept.
I’ll begin with only 3-6 different cupcake options. The flavors will be inspired and named after the dogs in our group of friends. There will be Moo Moo’s, Jaeger’s, The Ferg, and Chanel’s. I will also create a cupcake treat for dogs so they can share the moment of sweetness with us.
Since I am very passionate about nutrition, and I believe in a diet that does not contain animal product, these treats will strictly be vegan. That being said, my cupcakes will still contain gluten and I will use real sugar. I am conscious of food allergens, so I’m able create recipes specific to a persons needs.
An exciting part of Moo Moo’s Vegan Cupcakes is of the profits will go to different charities for animals. I plan to support local people/groups that are actively involved, who independently volunteer and could use a little support.
