Thank you for your continued prayers and excitement for the Living Room! We wanted to share a brief update on our progress.

Earlier this month, we held our first Living Room Host meeting, and we were encouraged by the incredible turnout and enthusiasm. It’s clear that many people are excited to help create a welcoming space where our community can gather, build relationships, and have meaningful conversations about Jesus.

We do have one construction update to share. As preparations were underway to install the new epoxy flooring, contractors discovered that groundwater was seeping through part of the building’s foundation after a heavy rain. Since the flooring can’t be installed until the moisture issue is resolved, we’ve decided to address the foundation first to ensure the space is built on a solid foundation for years to come.

The waterproofing work is scheduled for mid-August. Once that’s complete, we’ll be able to install the flooring, cabinets, and furniture before opening the doors.

While we’re disappointed that this means pushing our opening into September, we’re grateful to have identified the issue now rather than after opening. Thank you for your patience, encouragement, and prayers as we continue preparing this ministry. We can’t wait to welcome our community into the Living Room this fall!

We're finally getting our floors started this week!! After that, we've got everything queued up to start moving in. Stay tuned. We're getting closer and closer. Not quite ready to throw an open date out there just yet. Soon!
