Julia’s delectable quiche was all about texture—the egg filling should be smooth, rich and custard-like, and each bite should have the perfect balance of egg, cheese, and whatever mix-ins your heart desires. We’ve got three flavors for your quiche-loving hearts: Ham & Bacon, Chicken & Artichoke, and the ever-popular Spinach & Feta.

✨NEW Pumpkin Chocolate Babka!

Hey Hot Springs, let’s do a little experiment together. If we all only eat pumpkin- and pecan-flavored things this week, maybe Mother Nature will get the hint and give us a break from this heat! We’ll kick things off with this Pumpkin Chocolate Babka: a tender, fluffy babka dough layered with spiced pumpkin purée and milk chocolate chips. It may not feel like fall, but it sure tastes like it here at Mueller's Bistro & Bakery.

✨New in the pastry case: traditional Czech kolaches!

While you might know kolaches as a sausage-stuffed pastry from Texas, the original kolache is quite different. In the late 1800s, a wave of Czech immigrants settled in Texas and introduced their friends and neighbors to a buttery, pillowy pastry filled with cheese, fruit, nuts, and other types of sweet fillings. Over time, the folks in Texas convinced them to swap the sweet fillings for savory, like sausage.

At Mueller's Bistro & Bakery, we love to revive historic European pastry methods while also innovating and experimenting with modern twists on the classics. Now you can get both types of kolaches at Mueller’s! Try a jalapeño-cheddar Texas kolache, or opt for an authentic strawberry cream cheese kolache inspired by the original Czech creation. Nobody said you can’t try both 😉
