🎣 Trout Derby 10am- 12pm: No fishing license is required to fish on July 4th! Bring your gear and test your skills! All catches must be recorded by a staff member. Whoever catches the largest fish by length will win a $25 gift certificate to Trust General.
🇺🇲 Parade 11am: Cars, trucks, people, dogs, bikes, cows, horses, tractors, scooters, strollers. Decorate whatever you have and participate in our 2nd annual parade!
🛍️ Market vendors 11am-3pm: local vendors will be set up, selling all sorts of local, handcrafted goodies.
🧑‍🌾Hay Stacking Contest 12:00pm: We know lots of you have been working hard in the hay fields! Show off those muscles & compete to see who can move those hay bales the fastest! Can you beat last year's champion, Seth Lacey? Fastest time wins a $25 gift certificate to Trust General.
🪕The Good Ol' Mountain Dewds, 12:30-3:30pm: The Dewds are joining us again on guitar, mandolin, fiddle, accordion & bass to play all of your favorite country and bluegrass tunes.
💃Square Dance 1pm: Swing your partners round and round! Join in an old fashioned square dance, called by Steve of the Good Ol' Mountain Dewds!
💦Water Fight 2-2:30pm: Time for an afternoon cool off! Gather your friends (or foes), fill a water blaster (provided) and get soaked!
🍰Cake Walk 3pm: Donate to the school supply drive and receive two tickets— one that can be redeemed for a free popcorn, cotton candy, or popsicle. The other ticket allows you to participate in the cake walk. Prize is a WHOLE toasted coconut cake from the Trust Cafe. Must be present to win.

All day events:
🏰Small bounce house for the younger kids
🌊12 foot splash pad for all
🇬🇧🇺🇲 Cod vs. ‘Cue: 4th of July Food Fight: English Fish n’ Chips or American BBQ? The winner’s up to you.
📓School supply drive: After making a donation, you'll receive one ticket you can redeem for a free cotton candy, popcorn, or popsicle. The second ticket will allow you to participate in the cake walk!
🍔 Trust Cafe will be open 11am-7pm, serving our full menu, plus some amazing specials!

Trust General Store & Cafe is happy to announce that the Cafe will open for the 2021 season Memorial Day Weekend!
Stay tuned for updates on hours and opening day fun.
In the meantime, we have delicious take-home cafe goodies for sale in the freezer section of the General Store. We have soups, frozen entrees, breakfast sandwiches and burritos, cookie doughs, and yummy treats. Come see what’s new!

Please see the updated winter hours Trust General. Trust Café will be closed until Spring 2021. But the store will remain open to continue serving it’s wonderful community and guests.

Thanks for all your continued support through COVID, Managment changes and now through the winter.

Monday-Saturday 8am-6pm
Sunday 10am-5pm

Parting is such sweet sorrow...
TODAY (Sunday) is the last day the cafe will be open for the 2020 season. We will close at 3pm, so come on over to get your last taste of Trust Cafe for this year!
It’s been such a blast getting to know you all, a privilege to serve you, and a joy to be part of this community. We look forward to seeing you in the spring!
Meanwhile, the store will remain open to serve you and we’ll be stocking the freezer with delicious soups, desserts, and other goodies to get you through the winter months.
Thanks for an AMAZING 2020; we can’t wait to see what 2021 has in store! ❤️

Trust General Store & Cafe will host trick-or-treaters on Halloween! Come by from 4-6pm to collect lots of fun treats!
The trick-or-treating will be outdoors, but we ask that all visitors follow social distancing protocols and wear masks if you enter the store.
We’re looking for volunteers to help man our trick-or-treat stations. We’re hoping to have 12 stations to make it a better experience for the kids. Please message us if you can help!

As our 2020 season begins to wind down, the Trust Cafe is moving to weekend hours beginning this week.
The cafe will be closed during the week. Open hours are as follows:

Saturday 10am-7pm
Sunday 10am-3pm

We’ll determine the cafe’s closing date based on how busy we are during the weekend, and then we’ll open again in the spring!

The General Store will remain open 7 days a week. We’ll post any changes in our hours.
