✨ LET’S TALK ZIGGY DUST. ✨🍕
Our Hot Springs folks already know about Ziggy Dust. But for those of you getting to know us in Vincennes, Indiana… you may be wondering what that little container of magic is all about.
Ziggy Dust is our special pizza topper. It’s a blend of incredible ingredients designed to enhance all those flavors already happening in your pizza.
Does the pizza need it? Absolutely not. The pizza speaks for itself😃�But does Ziggy Dust make a pretty great thing even better? We certainly think so.
A lot of our customers love sprinkling it around the crust, which already gets an olive oil finish and a sprinkle of Parmesan unless you tell us otherwise. Or shake a little over the whole pie. There are no rules here.
And before you ask: No, Ziggy Dust is NOT spicy. It’s all about flavor, not heat.
Of course, there’s a story behind the name Ziggy Dust. 🎶🍕🐾�And if you know us, you know there’s almost always a story.
We’ve attached that one below.
So if you haven’t tried the Ziggy Dust yet, give it a shake once we open. You just might understand why our Hot Springs crowd already knows it by name. ❤️✨🐾

Introducing… Dr. Drea Dessert Dust! 🩷🐾

When we decided to open Vinyl Pies in Vincennes, Indiana, we knew we wanted to create something special just for this location.
If you know us from Hot Springs, you already know about our famous Ziggy Dust. And if you’re new to Vinyl Pies, don’t worry, we’ll tell you about it when we make it later this week. 😉
But today, we’re introducing something brand new, inspired right here in Vincennes, Dr. Drea Dust!

Many of you already know that we are HUGE dog people, they are part of our family! That said, you won’t find our dogs hanging out inside the restaurant once we’re open on 9/2. As much as we adore them, we respect the health codes and believe animals and restaurant kitchens/dining areas don’t mix. But their stories absolutely belong here!

We also created our “Pizza Heaven” wall. Here, we decided to memorialize special dogs who crossed the Rainbow Bridge and left enormous paw prints on our hearts. We’d be happy to add your angel 😇.

Dr. Drea has quite a story. It’s a little long and it’s attached if you’d like to read it. It’s also hanging near our front door.

Dolly-Dolly is most definitely on our minds ♥️💔♥️

There are some people who belong on a Vinyl Pies wall simply because their music has been part of our lives.
And then there are people who belong there because of who they are.
Dolly Parton is both.
With our original Vinyl Pies sitting so close to the Tennessee/North Carolina border, Dolly has always felt especially close to home. She is loved all over the world, but there is something different about the way she is adored in these mountains. She is one of our own.
And after Hurricane Helene devastated our little corner of the world, Dolly showed exactly why.
She stepped up for the people of East Tennessee/Western North Carolina with the kind of generosity that didn’t feel like a celebrity gesture. It felt personal. It felt like one mountain person helping another. She said, “These are my people. This is my home.” And she meant it.
When we rebuilt Vinyl Pies in Hot Springs after Helene, we knew we wanted to recognize Dolly on our walls. Her words, her heart and what she did for our communities deserved a place there.
And now, as we’ve built our new Vinyl Pies in Vincennes, Indiana, we made sure Dolly had a place there, too. Her album is on our album wall because, really, how could it not be?
There is also another piece of Dolly’s legacy that means an enormous amount to us personally.
As an educator, and I have always believed that giving a child a book is giving them a door to somewhere else. Dolly understood that. In 1995, she created the Imagination Library, inspired in part by her own father’s inability to read and write. What began in her home county grew into a worldwide program that has gifted hundreds of millions of free books to children.
Music. Kindness. Mountains. Community.
That sounds an awful lot like the things we care about at Vinyl Pies.
So today, as we say goodbye to Dolly, we are especially grateful that we got to live in a time when she was here
Thank you, Dolly, for leaving this world kinder, more generous, more musical, and for putting books in the hands of children.
What a legacy. ❤️

🗣️🗣️Attention, Vincennes, Indiana!

Well… here we go. ❤️
Our original goal was to open Vinyl Pies with everything we serve ready to go , including that ice-cold beer to go with your pizza or a nice glass of red wine with your pie.
Unfortunately, our beer & wine permit is taking a little longer than we’d hoped. And believe me, it pains us to open the doors without having the complete Vinyl Pies experience available from day one.
But we’ve made a decision…
WE’RE OPENING ANYWAY! 🎉🍕🔥🎶
There’s another very important reason we made this decision.
We have hired some amazing people here in Vincennes, people we already know are going to become a very special part of our Vinyl Pies family. And quite honestly, we don’t think it’s fair to ask them to keep waiting, either♥️.
They’re ready.
The kitchen is ready.
The pizza is ready
And we’re definitely more than ready to welcome you!

We are still hoping that beer & wine approval comes through very soon. We just don’t know exactly when that will happen.
So, if having a beer or a glass of wine with your pizza is important to you and you’d rather wait until we have that available, we completely understand and respect that. ❤️
But if you’re ready for some Vinyl Pies Pizza and fresh salads, we cannot wait to see you!
Come in, feel the vibes, taste the pies and meet our rockstar staff! We even have a few “on tour” coming from Hot Springs, NC-we know they’ll get that warm Indiana welcome!

From Vincennes to Hot Springs… and back again 🍕🔥🎶🎸♥️
One of the things we’ve loved most about opening Vinyl Pies Pizza in Vincennes is realizing just how far our little piece of Hot Springs has traveled.
We’ve already had several wonderful people from Vincennes make their way to Hot Springs, North Carolina, a town we love deeply and one that continues to rebuild after Hurricane Helene and we just love seeing Vincennes friends help with that process.
And today, we got to welcome our first visitors from the Hot Springs, NC/East Tennessee area to Vinyl Pies in Vincennes! ❤️
We absolutely loved showing them around our new home and introducing them to Vincennes, our new town with so much history, character and some of the warmest people we’ve met.
It feels pretty special to have these two communities connected by Vinyl Pies. Different towns, different stories, but the same love of good food, good music and good people.
So whether you find us on the Appalachian Trail in Hot Springs or here in Vincennes, you’re part of the Vinyl Pies family. 🍕🎶❤️
Thanks for making the trip to see us. We hope this is just the beginning of the two communities getting to know each other!

📢 ATTENTION VP, HOT SPRINGS, NORTH CAROLINA! 📢

A temporary change to our Tuesday, August 11th hours!
As part of the continued rebuilding and repair efforts happening around Hot Springs following Hurricane Helene the town will be doing a major water repair project tomorrow, which means we’ll be without water for most the morning and into the early afternoon. “Like, seriously Helene, such a total buzzkill…STILL”!!
For VP, this means, no lunch service tomorrow! But don’t worry, we’re firing back up at 3:00 PM and serving until 8:00 PM! 🍕
We may have to hit the PAUSE button on lunch, but we’re pressing the “PLAY” button at 3 PM sharp! 😂
Come see us after 3 PM, grab some of the best pizza you’ve ever put in your mouth, and help us keep the Hot Springs comeback rolling. ❤️

One last weekend in Hot Springs before we step away for a few months to get Vinyl Pies Pizza in Vincennes, Indiana up and running. It was tough to leave when it’s “Watermelon Festival Weekend “ but we wanted to spend some time with our incredible Hot Springs crew ❤️
We were able to sit down with our amazing VP family and remind them just how important they are. We know we could never grow this cool, fun little concept without people who care as deeply about it as they do. And with Erica leading the ship, we know Vinyl Pies, Hot Springs is in the best hands possible 😃
We also, of course, stocked up on Ziggy Dust (our signature pizza dust). Because a few months away from the mountains is hard enough, we certainly weren’t going to run out of Ziggy Dust too! ✨ 🐾 🩷
We don’t like being away from the mountains for too long, but we know this next chapter is necessary. The best part is, we are absolutely LOVING Vincennes. Our biggest goal now is to finalize building a team there that is just as incredible as our Hot Springs team. We’ve nearly completed that and we’re excited about who we’ll be working alongside of!
We look for a team that cares about people. A team that cares about the guests’ experience. A team that makes every person who walks through our doors feel special, from the moment they walk in until the moment they leave. Because that’s what Vinyl Pies is all about!
Our Hot Springs crew? They’re not just staff, they’re a ROCKSTAR staff. 🎤🎸

A huge thank you to Lacey and the Sun-Commercial for taking the time to tell our story. It means so much to us that you listened, not just to why we chose Vincennes as the home of our second Vinyl Pies Pizza, but to what this journey has meant to our family.

From the moment we started this adventure, the people of Vincennes have welcomed us with open arms. We truly couldn't have asked for a more supportive community. Every kind word, encouraging message, and friendly face has reminded us that we made the right decision!

One of the greatest blessings of this new chapter is that we get to build this dream alongside our children while still returning home to beautiful Hot Springs, North Carolina, to care for our original Vinyl Pies. It's the best of both worlds, and we don't take that for granted.

Thank you again, Lacey, for capturing our story so thoughtfully, and thank you, Vincennes, for making us feel like part of your community. We can't wait to serve you great pizza, in a fun atmosphere where you can create lasting memories!
