Did you know 50% of coffee shops fail within the first year? Well I hate to be a statistic but…

All jokes aside, this has been super heavy on me for about a month now.. and after some math with my accountant (Josh) I just decided it was time to throw in the towel. While the business as a whole has been a success, my house, my mood, and my mental state has suffered. The profit from the business isn’t enough to justify me spending as much time there as I have been. If I’m not there, I’m stressed about it, if I’m there no one else is. I knew opening a business in a tiny town was going to be hard to sustain, I didn’t know how hard it would be on myself.

I have some goals I have set for myself that I’m going to need to solely focus on. I have plans for myself, and my family that are going to need my full attention.

I’ve loved this so much, but I feel relief more than sadness and that’s how I know this is the right step for me.

So with that being said— tomorrow I WILL be open, discounted drinks until inventory is gone. Then I will be posting all of my equipment for sale tomorrow as well. Don’t be mad at me guys.
