I want to announce with the heaviest of hearts the saddest news. Patsy’s will cease operations as of today, May 22nd, 2025.
This type of decision is never easy to make, especially in this case where Patsy’s has become a staple of the community, being a place for anybody who wanted to enjoy a good meal or a cold drink while been greeted by the most gracious, attentive and capable staff. The responsibility of running something of this magnitude is first and foremost challenging and it’s never easy trying to provide a good product or service while being able to maintain a viable source of revenue. Sometimes the overbearing obligations take a big toll and despite the best efforts to try and keep the doors open, at some point there’s the realization that is no longer sustainable.
It’s the hardest decision I have had to face in my life, and all the years I have been in the industry.
I learned to love the community and the people that, either were or became regulars, nonetheless the amazing group of people that worked under this roof.
Life goes on, new opportunities will knock on doors but the biggest loss is always the human connections and the good times around a table sharing a meal. Countless people have found that table at Patsy’s over the years or even in more recent times. Sadly that table won’t be there, until perhaps a new venture will come and reopen the doors. In that case, more and new exciting pages can be written and new connections will be born.
For as painful and ugly any ending might feel, there is always an outlook at new beginnings and with the excitement of what tomorrow might bring. In the meanwhile, I sincerely and deeply thank everyone from the bottom of my heart.
