Community is 🔑

October 10th was nothing short of fantastic! Family, lifelong friends and new friends weathered the storm to support me on the launch of my book, "Before I Knew Him". As the 1940s Wartime hit music played in the background, I enjoyed sharing my dad's memorabilia, his story and celebrating his 114th birthday. THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO CAME AND THOSE WHO DESIRED BUT COULD NOT. A special thank you to my husband, Daryl, my big brother, Alvin, my high school classmate and friend, Nate, for moderating, the staff of Noirbham and the Hoover Public Library for hosting me, and photographer, Tony Cain!
