HeidiCakes started off as a bake sale at church to raise money for a non-profit my husband and I have called 4Thesolution.org. It is an addiction awareness program that goes into Jr High Schools and teaches the kids about the dangers of drugs and alcohol. We had our annual Anti Drug & Alcohol Rally coming up at Layton Amphitheater and needed to raise some money. Instead of having your typical "Bak

e Sale," I decided to decorate some cupcakes and have a "CupCake Sale!" It was a huge hit and it became a regular event at our church. People started asking me to make them for different occasions and said I should start a business. In an attempt to raise more money over the summer for 4Thesolution.org we decided to purchase a concession trailer and set up at local events and sell cupcakes. October of 2012 I was given the opportunity to set up at HAFB in front of the BX. **UPDATE: I have sold the cupcake trailer and can be found around town in a pink polka dotted cupcake truck. A portion of every cupcake sold goes to 4Thesolution.org with the hopes that if we can reach one child and keep them from trying drugs and alcohol, we have been successful! HeidiCakes got it's name when my daughter (Heidi) would talk about us going into business together on the way to school. She decided we should open a cupcake business.....she married and moved to Texas but I decided to keep the name! Check out 4thesolution.org

HOOPER!!! The vendors at Food Truck Night could use some extra support tonight! A HUGE gust of wind came out of nowhere and a lot of the vendors lost their awnings and merchandise was blown everywhere.
