First of all, I want to thank everyone for all the support throughout the years. Although our store is closed, your love and support is what fueled our team throughout the years! ❤️

Lastly, not having to deal with the headaches of running a business (especially during covid) has renewed my original passion in the milk, sugar, and cream part of ice cream (I also have the newfound weight to show for it 😅) so in the next few weeks I’ll be making some small, handmade batches. No, we’re not reopening, yes, it’s very limited supply. Stay tuned here and when they’re ready I’ll post em. If you’re interested in the process of wanna love ice cream the way I do, look out for stories/TikTok.

We regret to inform our Lucy’s Lab family that our plans for our new location unfortunately would be too difficult at this time. After much consideration, our team has made the tough decision today to officially close the business after 6 years of operations. Our last day of selling ice cream to you will be Tuesday, December 29th. Thank you so much for your continued support for Lucy’s Lab throughout the years. We could have never done this without you. Please come down so we may say our final goodbyes. Mahalo.

Lucy’s Lab Creamery prides itself on being a student-operated business! Featured in these photos are some members of the Hawaii Student Entrepreneurs. Lucy’s Lab management comprises members of this club. HSE is a business club at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa formed with the intent to inspire and empower students to pursue entrepreneurship in its fullest capacity. HSE strives to instill in students the knowledge, network, and resources to start and run a successful business independently. They are the global emerging markets!

An HSE and Lucy’s Lab partnership allows student entrepreneurs to get a grasp of running a small business in Hawaii. These real-life experiences will contribute to the overall success of our students' future endeavors in their new ventures. It is one of our missions at Lucy’s Lab to promote entrepreneurship in our communities! Partnering with students was an opportunity to encourage entrepreneurial activities with Lucy’s Lab.

Behind every scoop of ice cream served at Lucy’s is a smile and a purpose. 

Today, we would like to share with all of you why Lucy’s Lab was created. Our owner, Lee Wang combined his love for ice cream and his mother Lucy who had passed away from stage 4 breast cancer and came up with the idea to open up an ice cream shop that donates a portion of its proceeds to support cancer research. 

Our story is not one we often share, but is an important part of our Lab this breast cancer awareness month especially. 

We want to hear from you, if you’re willing to share on your instagram stories, feeds or even through private DM about your stories in dealing with cancer, and in return offer you a free scoop of our breast cancer awareness month flavour: the hibiscus hope. Tag with the hashtag to spread awareness of our cause, and show this to our cashier at pick up of your free scoop!
