Retail Merchants of Hawaii Retail Merchants of Hawaii (RMH) is a state-wide, not-for-profit trade association committed to the growth and development of the retailers in Hawaii.

Founded in 1901, Retail Merchants of Hawaii (RMH) is a state-wide, not-for-profit trade association committed to the growth and development of the retail industry in Hawaii. The RMH mission is to promote the welfare of the retail industry, to provide information and training to advance the interests of the retail industry, and to serve as an advocate for the retail industry in both the governmenta

l and the business communities. The retail industry is the largest single generator of general excise tax revenue and employs almost 20% of the workforce in the State of Hawaii. Because effective interaction with government is critical to business, RMH is recognized as the official representative of the retail industry in Hawaii.

RMH is taking over Pickles at Forté for our biggest pau hana mixer of the season and you’re invited! Serve, sip, and socialize with our local retail and business community on Thursday, July 23 at Hawaii’s only fully air-conditioned indoor pickleball facility.

Open to all ✨ Retailers, allied members, friends, family, or anyone looking to meet new people (maybe even a pickleball partner).

We’re honored to highlight another amazing member of The Retail Merchants of Hawaii: Walmart!

With multiple locations across the islands, Walmart continues to serve our communities with convenience, affordability, and aloha. Their commitment to supporting local initiatives and providing everyday essentials has a big impact on both our residents and visitors alike.

Most recently, their Mililani location received exciting upgrades! Including refreshed restrooms, improved signage, and an expanded curbside pickup area, enhancing the overall shopping experience for the community.
