Behind every successful story are the people who make it happen. Hot Pot Heaven is no different.
Jimmy and I cannot put into words how grateful we are for our incredible team. Thank you for always showing up with cheerful smiles, positive attitudes, and hearts full of care. You have been such an important part of our journey.
A customer told us yesterday that they felt a little weird waiting outside at 10:30 a.m. for us to open just so they could enjoy one last meal with us. I laughed and told them, "You came to the right place because our staff are all weird and crazy!"
The truth is, we weirdly enjoy working together. Work has always been full of laughter, fun, and endless stories. We joke, we tease, we make up ridiculous stories, and somehow turn even the busiest days into memories we'll never forget.
These last two days have shown us just how special our team is. Staff members came in even when they weren't scheduled to work. We didn't ask them to. They came because they wanted to help make sure service went smoothly, say goodbye to customers they had come to know over the years, and simply support us through these final days. Seeing that has touched our hearts more than words can express.
As we close this chapter, we're happy to share that almost all of our staff will continue with us on our next adventures. The only exceptions are two team members who can't make the longer drive.
So if you miss our craziness, our weirdness, our laughter, or simply hearing someone yell, "Hot soup!" across the restaurant, come visit us at Hot Pot Heaven Kailua, Hot Pot Heaven Kapolei, and Phở Heaven. We'd love to serve you!
