We are moving. At least that is the plan. We need more space to deliver for you all the best pizza and sandwiches and pastries we can. We need to open the pizza shop we have always envisioned. Our last day will be May 29th. I waited longer than I should have in posting. For that I apologize. Even though this isn’t the end, closing what was our home for nearly 5 yrs still leaves a hole. It has been a long journey. I can’t ever fully express how grateful I am for all of you. From behind this counter I have watched children turn into adults and start to make their way in this crazy world. I’ve seen first dates turn into marriages. Cancers get beaten back, more than once. Tears shed and smiles I wish I could box up and keep forever. And many a cuss word delivered with such talent that I wish I knew how to turn it into a ring tone. Every interaction I have had with each of you has been something I will always cherish. As we get closer to re-opening we will update this account.
For now please stay tuned for our other projects. They will be announced soon. We think you will really enjoy them. 🤞

Sandwiches are back starting may 5th

Sooooo..with a lot of assistance from people that read my post about pausing sandwiches and dms making suggestions I think I have landed on what might work.

The monster sized sandwiches that we were doing are now $26

We will also be a doing normal (for me) versions that come in at $15

Both are cash only. Orders are limited to 8 per order.

After several weeks of discussions and negotiations with vendors and running and rerunning the numbers. we have made the decision to end our sandwiches for now. Before you cut my throat please let me explain. They may come back in some form. When we first started the sandwiches I wanted to give customers a taste of the style I grew up with. I have been so happy to see that they have been so well received. They were never great on margin. As rising costs these last 2 1/2 months have eaten into what tiny profit there was I refused to raise the price. With this latest jump my costs have soared 28%. Essentially meaning I would be in the red on each order. Even with this amazing wave of orders of 10+ sometimes ,20+ sandwiches. It’s been hard to scrap out a serviceable profit. Especially with just me and Brad. Baking the bread, sometimes staying over night and the assembly ate up so much time. I don’t feel right raising the price for you. With some adjustments we may bring them back. For now we are going to focus on making better pizza. I hope you will understand. Those that know me know I lost sleep about having to post this.

Heads up. Since we have been getting very large sandwich orders we will need to institute a slight change. 10 or more can be same day. 20-30 we will need a day before. 60 plus has to be in on order and settled 1 week before. Hope you understand. 😅 thank you!

This is the first year since we have been open that our Easter weekend is full! I don’t know what it is. Maybe mercury is in retrograde or I planted the good type of seeds but this last few days (especially yesterday) were really good. Thank you!!

What’s up everyone. It’s been a few moons. Some of you have suggested I post that I am back in the shop. Yes full time. At least for the foreseeable future. I’ve missed all of you and it has been great to see familiar faces and have good laughs and conversations. I look forward to seeing more of you!
