My dark chocolate stout cake with pomegranate mousse filling won 4th place in the PA preferred chocolate cake baking contest. Unfortunately, the judges loved my cake, but the cake did not stand up to the heat of July in NEPA. Here's to change and another attempt next year.

As I was designing business cards today, I discovered that Deanna's Delictables is not going to work for a name. I would love any input as I am having a hard time finding a name that isn't already taken. I'm open to all ideas and be as creative as possible. My screenname for all my social media things are valiumismycolour. It's an omage to my love for musical theatre and a play with my pharmacy career.

Dry run for the baking contest finished... I practice the review to tomorrow then the real cake on Tuesday for drop off Wednesday then judging thursday!!! Busy and anxious week for us
