Yes, the rumors are true. ❤️
After 14 years, Gobble Doggs is closing, and this will be our final week in Homewood.
Wow. Even writing those words feels surreal.
To those of you who have been with us from the very beginning, you have literally watched me build this business. You were there for the gaffes and growing pains, the successes and celebrations, and probably a few moments when you wondered what in the world we were doing! 😂
There have been lots of laughs, some tears, plenty of frustration, and so many moments of pure elation as I learned what it really meant to be a business owner.
And you know what? I enjoyed every bit of it.
For 14 years, you supported my crazy little idea of putting a different spin on the hot dog. You came to our events, visited our locations, followed the food truck, told your friends about us, brought your families in, encouraged me, and most importantly, you gave Gobble Doggs a try.
For that, I will always be grateful.
As I figure out what the next chapter of my life looks like, I will carry these 14 years with me. I’ll remember the lessons, the people I’ve met, the friendships I’ve made, and every person who believed in what I was trying to build.
Thank you. Truly. Thank you. ❤️
I’ll be clearing out the Homewood space this week, so to my fellow business owners and soon-to-be entrepreneurs, send me a text at 331-234-1280 to see what we still have available. We’re selling restaurant equipment, furniture, supplies and more. Parents and families may find some useful things too, including napkins, boxes, trays and other items.
And before we turn off the lights for the last time, please come in and say goodbye.
I’d really love to see you.
Fourteen years. What a ride.
Thank you for being part of the Gobble Doggs story. ❤️
