In the little city of Homewood, just over the mountain from Birmingham, sits a beloved family restaurant that blends Southern home cooking with a warm hometown welcome. Johnny's has become a cherished gathering spot, the kind of place where the food is honest, the portions are generous, and everybody leaves happy.

The heart of the place is the meat-and-three, that wonderful Southern tradition of a good meat and your pick of fresh vegetables. Fried chicken, pot roast, and all the fixings, from creamed corn and greens to mac and cheese and cornbread, served up with a smile.

The restaurant carries on the legacy of the Greek immigrant families who brought their gift for hospitality to Alabama, adding their own touches to the Southern table. It is a place built on family, faith, and good food shared.

A meal at Johnny's is a reminder of what a neighborhood restaurant ought to be. It is honest cooking and open-hearted welcome, the very things that make a community feel like home.
