It's almost break time! Right now our plan is to be closed Thursday through Tuesday (September 3-8). Our last day off was in April, so we're ready! Big thanks to our crew! Good job 👏 Y'all worked hard this summer. Thanks to all of you for your support ❤️ and we hope everyone has a fun & safe labor day weekend.

Always appreciate a kind word & a shout out. Our crew are some of the hardest working locals in the industry. They did a stellar job this season, definitely the smoothest summer we've had. We may take care of the cooking, but they are who takes care of all of you.

A good diner still knows how to slow the day down a little. Coffee in a thick mug, a counter that’s seen plenty of elbows, and plates that come out looking like somebody in the kitchen meant it.

This one has that straightforward diner feel people remember, the kind that makes you think of road trips, early breakfasts, and meals where nobody is in a hurry. You can almost hear the coffee pot going and the silverware clinking before the food even lands.

Places like this keep a town’s mornings on track. I always appreciate seeing one still doing what diners do best.

Congratulations to Caitlin & Ben! Our family just got a little bit bigger, baby Elara was born Friday evening ❤️

As Katie Jo and I enter this next stage of life we aren't ready to turn the music down just yet, but I'm ready to start saying "get off my lawn" no seriously, stop parking on the grass 😆 there is like an acre of parking lot out there.

Yesterday afternoon we attended HCOA's annual meeting to see our son Alex receive the Youth Artist of the Year Award! We are very proud of him ❤️. Shout out to our neighbors at The Porcupine Theater for winning the Business Award as well! Congratulations to all the winners, you all make Homer a better place to live!

Today we celebrate our 12th wedding anniversary. Prior to our wedding day I promised her she would never be bored with me. Cooking beside me at the Diner might not have been what she pictured but here we are ♥️

We will be closing early tomorrow, July 12th, at noon so we may celebrate with Baxter on his big day. Yes, he loves dinosaurs 🦕 ❤️ 🎂 🥳

Despite not being nearly as good as Bigfoot at this game...this young moose has been playing hide and seek the last few weeks behind the Diner. Keep an eye out for it. 🫎
