Call me crazy, but I will have 20 flavors of ice cream and 4 non-dairy selections to select from at Saturday's Homer Farmers Market from 10 AM to 3 PM, along with Mom's Carrot cake. I have literally run out of room on the back wall of the booth top display more flavors! All pre-packed in 8 oz. cups with lids to go for $7, so come on out and pick up a few to enjoy all week long.

Starting with the first day of the Homer Farmers Market in May I have been asked, "When is you Mom arriving this summer?" Why? Her delicious homemade carrot cake is loved by many of my regular customers, as well as our visiting tourists. This year, we will again be selling it by the slice (Some fans actually reserve the whole cake!) while she is visiting Homer. Well, Mom is arriving late this weekend and the cake may be available starting as early as next Wednesday and definitely by July4th! This cake was my inspiration for my 24 Carrot Gold Carrot Cake ice cream that I make and mix into the ice cream. I guarantee this is one of the best cakes you have eaten. If you have had some, feel free to let others know what you think .
