Taste of Homer is here! 🎉 And we don’t mean to toot our own horn… but we’re pretty darn excited about this special!

We’re showcasing some seriously good local ingredients with our Taste of Homer special:

🐟 Crispy Fried Rockfish Sandwich — local rockfish from Kachemak Bay Seafoods, frisée from Twitter Creek, local dill pickles from Synergy Farms, house-pickled red onions & lemon.

Served with a side of…

🍲 Smoked White King Chowder — made with Alaskan White King Salmon sourced through Citizen Salmon, topped with local salmon roe.

A whole lot of local goodness, all in one meal. 💙

Well folks, our $1 oyster happy hour has officially come to a close for the summer season, and WOW… you all really love your oysters. 🦪💙

Since kicking things off on June 23rd, we served 16,558 oysters during happy hour. And that doesn’t even include all the oysters that made their way to your tables outside of happy hour!

We couldn’t have done it without our dear friends at Alaska Shellfish Farms. Weatherly, Greg, Rockwell & Vera have been working hard all summer to keep us stocked with some of Alaska’s finest oysters, and we couldn’t be more grateful for this hardworking family and their commitment to sustainable harvesting right here in our waters.

So, from all of us at The Kannery, join us in giving Alaska Shellfish Farms a huge, collective THANK YOU! 🫶

And don’t worry, oyster lovers - We’ll still be serving Alaska Shellfish Farms oysters for the rest of the summer, so come swing by, grab a half dozen (or a dozen 😉), and show these local beauties some love!

A5 wagyu has officially landed. 😍🥩

Straight from Japan, this premium cut is all about the marbling. Rich, buttery, and so tender it practically melts the second it hits your tongue.

We’re serving it with garlic crostini, black garlic purée, and a savory shiitake duxelle to let the beef do what it does best.
