Welcome back, Open Flame family 🔥

Your support and love have truly carried this journey. Every visit, every word of encouragement has helped shape what Open Flame is becoming, thank you for standing with us 🙏

A new chapter is unfolding. The vision is sharpening into something bold yet rooted, an Island Fire, Hawaiian-Polynesian inspired scratch kitchen 🌺🔥 Built with purpose, flavor, and intention. More is to be revealed this season.

This growth is not by my strength alone. It is through Christ-centered fellowship and a community that uplifts, supports, and moves together in unity 🤝

For those who don’t know me, my name is Rizwan. In 2024, I moved to North Carolina from Florida after the Lord gave me a vision for a better life, one that could provide for my family and give back meaningfully. I believed in God growing up, but it wasn’t until I surrendered my life to Christ that I truly experienced His power, blessings, and presence.

Now the mission is clear: to serve healthy, affordable food to this community, bringing together 35–40 years of Food & Beverage experience with guidance from the Holy Spirit. Something that is both personal and sincere. This is just the beginning. What’s ahead is being built with faith and fire 🔥

I have been informed that this page for Open Flame has been "hacked" and is being shut down as of Midnight tonight. I am very sorry. Rizwan, the owner, says a new one is being started within the next week or two. I do not know who is doing it for him, but this person is more computer savvy and knows more about how to "get the name out and get more business". For now, the plan is to be at the Laundromat parking lot this Friday, and Saturday be at the event at the Community Building in Holly Ridge. At this time, I do not know if the truck will be open any next or not. If you happen to drive by and we are there, please stop by and see us.

I am sorry, once again, to have to say we will not be open today. We are working hard to find, purchase, and install some windows so we can replace the tarps we had put up to at least block the wind from our "back porch." The wind had been hindering the flames we used for cooking! Tarps helped temporarily, but we couldn't see customers as you walked up! Please be patient with us. Wednesdays and Thursdays are normally closed days. HOPEFULLY, by Friday, we'll have windows installed and be back to serve you!

Brrrrrrrrr!!!!! We are sorry, folks, but we are not quite tough enough to endure these temperatures today. Hopefully, we will be back in the parking lot by the Laundromat in Holly Ridge tomorrow-Tuesday December 16.

Good morning Holly Ridge! We are back in the parking lot by the Laundromat in Holly Ridge today. Thank the Lord it's not rainy, though! We hope to see some of you because we've got some delicious HOT food ready to serve!!!
