Imagine a 10 day hosting of all things motorcycle.. 4th of July. Followed by Hollister hills old scool hill climbs. Adventure bikes. Followed by King of the baggers.. what an opportunity to get tourism dollars in our local economy..
But that's just my 2 cents..

Venders would be more eager to participate because they would be given more time to set up and sell. Not just 2 days to try and sell $50,000 worth of t-shirts. But a whole bike week similar to any other successful bike week in the United States.

Ours, being only 2 days, makes it really hard for any business to try and recoup the expenses of setup which is one of the reasons why this rally has been so hard-pressed to find success.

The examples of success are out there. They are right before our eyes. There are over a million registered motorcycles within a half days ride of Hollister California. And there's plenty of places to ride. The diversity that we could offer the motorcycling and tourism community really does give us an opportunity to not have to grow exponentially by selling crackerjack style houses but to really capitalize on the beauty and scenery of San Benito county and allow tourist dollars to help keep San Benito San Benito. Let people come and enjoy this beautiful landscape. And when they're done they can return to where they came from having had a great experience out here. Similar to any other destination. It could save our culture. But that's just my two cents.
