25 years later, September 11 will always be a day that brings so many emotions. We remember those who lost their lives, the heroes, and the families whose lives changed forever. For our family, it is also a day of gratitude. Our son Chad survived 9/11, and we will never stop being thankful that he came home to us. His story, and the "tugs" that carried him through that day, are something we will always hold close.

Today we would be celebrating Landon’s 41st birthday.
There really aren’t words for how much we miss him. He was such a huge part of Crane’s In The City - not just as our manager, but as the friendly face, the sports fanatic, the guy with the quick sense of humor, and a friend to so many who walked through our door.

Since Landon passed away, the love shown to our family and to our CITC family, has been overwhelming. The messages, cards, flowers, memorials, T1D donations, stories, MSU bricks, and kind words have meant more to us than we could ever say.

So today, on his birthday, we want to say thank you. Thank you for loving Landon, for remembering him, and for continuing to support us.

Happy Birthday, Landon.
Forever missed. Forever loved.

There are no words to express the heartbreak our family is feeling. Yesterday, we lost our beloved son, Landon.

If you knew Landon, you knew his smile. You knew his quick wit, his larger-than-life personality, and his incredible ability to make people laugh. He had a gift for making everyone feel welcome.

Landon loved sports and could talk about any game, team, or player. He was a devoted Michigan State Spartan fan through and through – always proudly cheering on the Green and White. He was also a walking encyclopedia when it came to movies. Whether he was watching a game, quoting a favorite movie, or making everyone around him laugh, he brought joy wherever he went.

His greatest loves were his family, his faithful dog, Carl, and being the fun uncle to his seven nieces, who absolutely adored him.

Our hearts are shattered, but we are so grateful for the outpouring of love, prayers, kind words, and memories so many of you have shared. They remind us just how many lives Landon touched.

We will miss him every single day, but his laughter, his kindness, and the love he gave so freely will stay with us forever.
We love you, Landon.
