Thank you Don Sjogren Community YMCA, Holdrege for letting us use your facility this morning

In honor of the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001, Funk Rural Fire Department and
Holdrege Police Department did 110 flights of stairs!

Never forget the lives that were lost and the sacrifice that was given from emergency personnel, military members, among many others that stepped up to help, or the families of those that never came home.

Good morning. We will be open 11-2 for lunch and 5-8 for supper service full menu is available. Thanks to those that came out this morning for the climb the tower in remembrance of those who lost their lives responding to the twin towers 25 years ago today a small token of appreciation to our local first responders This morning @ 8:15ish -10am first responders get free donuts and coffee. Come grab one to go or stay and visit we have coffee and juice.

Tomorrow marks 25 years sense 9/11. 343 fire fighters,71 police officers and 8 paramedics lost their lives that day. Our local ymca has opened the gym stairwells and main stairs available for our local first responders to climb the tower like those who did that day.bunker gear/uniforms/other gear is optional to wear. tomorrow morning at 5:30 am we will start the stair climb @ the Don Sjogren Community YMCA, Holdrege at 8:30 we will have our made from scratch free donuts to local first responders at the restaurant. Swing in grab one to go,come sit and enjoy one or two and hang out visit with fellow first responders.
