🌱 Sip ’n Sprout For Sale – Round 2!
After speaking with several interested buyers, I wanted to repost with more information and a clear timeline for anyone considering the opportunity.
As many of you know, I have decided to return to school to pursue my goal of becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner. Because of that, I am looking for the right person to take over Sip ’n Sprout and continue building on the foundation that has already been created.
Sip ’n Sprout opened in January 2026 as an indoor play and community space for young children and their caregivers. While the business is still young, it has already developed an established presence within the community, repeat families, birthday party bookings, memberships, social media presence, and the systems needed to continue growing.
WHAT IS INCLUDED:
• Business name and branding
• Website and domain
• Social media accounts
• Square systems and business infrastructure
• Customer contacts and established community presence
• Membership systems and structure
• Birthday party systems and processes
• Marketing materials and signage
• Transition support from me
• All furnishings, shelving, storage, rugs, tables, seating, dramatic play areas, train table, dollhouse, market setup, Magna-Tiles, toys, learning materials, and other items currently used in the space
SPACE IMPROVEMENTS:
Significant work has already been completed, including:
• New flooring
• Bathroom renovation
• Fresh paint throughout
• Space build-out and setup
• Furnishings, storage solutions, and play area design
CURRENT BUSINESS MODEL:
• Open play sessions
• Membership options
• Birthday parties
• Repeat families and returning customers
At the time operations paused, open play sessions were $20 per child, with pricing adjustments based on attendance.
Birthday parties are currently priced at $250 for a 3-hour party. I was averaging approximately two birthday parties per month, and bookings were increasing at the time I decided to step away.
OPERATING COSTS:
Approximate monthly expenses:
• Rent: $1,250/month
• Insurance: approximately $175/month
• Internet: approximately $80/month
• Heat/Electric: approximately $390/month during the coldest winter months
Based on previous conversations with the landlord, my understanding is that rent would remain at $1,250 through the end of my current lease term in October 2026. After that, I believe there may be an increase of approximately $200/month, though all future lease terms would ultimately be negotiated directly between the landlord and the new tenant.
COFFEE PROGRAM:
There is currently no active coffee operation. However, substantial planning and research has already been completed regarding how the coffee side of the business could be implemented in phases. I am happy to share those plans, resources, contacts, and recommendations with the new owner.
A new owner could continue the current concept, expand upon it, or adapt the space to fit their own vision.
BUYER INFORMATION:
Cash buyers are preferred.
If financing is needed, please have a clear and realistic funding plan in place before reaching out. Because the business is still very young, traditional business financing based solely on business revenue may be difficult.
The asking price starts at $10,000.
TIMELINE:
• Accepting offers through the afternoon of Wednesday, June 17
• Buyer selection by June 18
• Landlord meeting to follow
• Goal is for a new lease to begin July 1
Please read the entire post before reaching out, as many common questions are answered above.
When contacting me, please include your name, whether you are purchasing as an individual or with a partner, your anticipated funding source (cash or financing), and any specific questions you may have after reviewing the information provided.
I am happy to schedule phone calls, answer questions, and arrange tours for prospective buyers who are genuinely interested and prepared to move forward within the timeline outlined above.
