It’s your neighbor’s favorite breakfast spot, the stage for your cousin’s wedding, the setting for fish fries and first dates, and the dock you land at when you just need to exhale. Whether you’re camping on-site, catching live music, or toasting to something special, Eastbay is here for the moments that matter. As the new owners, Bill Bertrand and Ben Abfalter, we’re proud to restore and reimagine this special place with deep respect for its legacy and a clear focus on its future. We both live part-time on Lake Holcombe, and we don’t just run Eastbay—we believe in it. We’ve walked these docks, shared these views, and we know just how much this place means to those who call it home (or home for the weekend). Eastbay is also about people—our team is made up of hardworking, big-hearted locals who care deeply about your experience. From the kitchen to the dock to the dining room, they’re the ones who make the magic happen. We are honored to work beside them and support them as they bring Eastbay to life, one shift at a time. We’re also deeply committed to our community. Whether it’s through hosting fundraisers, supporting local talent, or partnering with area organizations, we see Eastbay as a gathering place that reflects the heart of Holcombe. Beginning October 5, our Fall & Winter schedule will be:

We’re stacking live music, Badger football and prime rib into one hell of a Saturday.

Wade Snake kicks things off with acoustic rock, country, alternative favorites and original music. Get here early, grab a cold drink and settle in for three hours of live music.

Jenny is finally taking her first vacation since joining EastBay.

For two seasons, she has roamed these halls more than the EastBay ghosts—sunup to sundown—making lists, building processes and, of course, creating her famous rules. There is a reason we lovingly call her Process Jenny.

But Jenny believes in EastBay. She believes in what this place can be, and she puts everything she has into making it better.

Thankfully, she isn’t alone. EastBay is filled with people who believe in it—people who work long days, care deeply and give far more than most guests will ever see. Those believers are what make EastBay special, and we’re damn fortunate to have so many of them.

So this week, the only thing Process Jenny is allowed to manage is her drink.

Come see us before she gets back and we all get a talking-to.
