After looking back at 15 years gone by at The House of William and Merry we have decided to close this chapter. It’s not because of lack of business, and or support from our community. It has nothing to do with the relentless work and passion given by our wonderful staff. It has to do with the fact that Merry and I need to find a new chapter in our lives. We do however think that chapter will be here at our home, but we need time to process and plan what that might look like.
The beauty of this place is too overwhelming to put into words. We have created thousands of dishes, serves thousands of customers, and made thousands of incredible memories that we will cherish into the future. To just say thank you will never be enough, but we are truly thankful! This community has supported us through good times and bad, and allowed us to live our dream in a way few could understand.
As time has gone by in our lives we have changed, our goals and priorities have changed, and the world has changed. We are going to take some time to figure out what The House of William and Merry might look like in the future. Look to our social media and website for updates on our next chapter. This is not the end, it’s not a goodbye, it’s “until we see you again.” Delaware is our home and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
