IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT:

Brunch And More opened on January 30 and we were so excited to be able to serve the community with good quality food at a reasonable price. We were just starting to pick up momentum and beginning to gain new customers every day… As well as making friendships with many of our customers. When.. May 12th I was in a head on collision from someone who crossed over the line rendering me unable to walk or even stand. After a hospitalization stay of nearly a month I went home weelchair bound. And a With the dream of being back in my kitchen. It took several months of home therapy before I was able to leave and go to Physical therapy out of the house . As head chef I needed someone to fill my spot, therefore, My partner Linda decided that she was going to follow through and keep brunch And More going in my absence. With the help of family and friends we have kept Brunch And More open. I had just began returning to work a couple hours a day at the register and then We took a break to allow time to recharge for the up coming holiday season. After our recharge we opened November 30th. We were once again faced with a challenging situation. Linda was involved in an automobile accident, Rendering her injured. I know my recovery will still be several months before I am able to take back my spot in the kitchen. Unfortunately, we are dissolving our partnership because it has now become too much, with both of us injured to continue.
We feel that we have been blessed to have meet so many kind people and had wonderful customers, becoming friends with many of them. We feel that we are so lucky to have been partners and remain good friends. BUT Watch out, once healed I will be back, Brunch And More is not over! I look forward to serving the community again with my recipes ❤️
Thank you to all our loyal customers, family, friends and community. We have felt the love and are so sad that Brunch and more is closing.

Brunch and more was honored to help Pete and the Hockessin Historical Society put together some delicious treats made with locally grown herbs from the CountrySide Garden Club 🤗 Pete contacted Brunch and more on behalf of the Hockessin Historical Society in hopes of collaborating something to show their appreciation to the CountrySide Garden Club for all their hard work. Pete delivered some of the CountrySide Garden Club’s locally grown herbs to incorporate into the menu idea. With the locally grown herbs we were able to come up with some delicious unique quiches. We hope you enjoy & we thank you for all that you do! 🪴•

UPDATE……. 🗣
September 12th was 4 months since Shannon’s accident & September 13th she walked into therapy using a walker for the first time… The following day She stopped into Brunch and more for the first time. We wanted to give a special thanks to Shannon’s Aunt Joy & Aunt Michelle who have volunteered all summer for Brunch and more while Shannon has been out. Michelle is now heading back to Florida and will be missed 😔We also want to thank her mother in law Rosemarie, Barbie, Sam & Micky, her sister-in-law Michele, Loretta and other friends & family who have all volunteered to help out in Shannon’s absence. We would like also thank all the loyal customers and new customers… We truly appreciate all of the love and support from everyone. Shannon is progressing well and hopes to be back with in a month with limited hours. She is looking forward to being back cooking and baking in her kitchen for all of you soon 👩🏻‍🍳⏲🥘🥣
