Origin of the name and flavor per Kelsea:
“Growing up in the south with a very Italian American dad from Long Island was a funny experience. I always crack up at the way my southern grandma, in a classic drawl, used to pronounce Italian as Eyeee-Italian, and thought my dad made us pasta for every meal. One of my favorite memories of visiting NYC as a kid was visiting Ferrara’s in Little Italy and chowing down on Italian Rainbow cookies. Combine those with chocolate ice cream and raspberry jam, and wa-la!”
We had a great time with the Kelsea family at our DIY class, and was great to have the full family help in spinning back a flavor made during class. Their 9 mo old Leo even tried his first ice cream scoop straight from the machine. Hope to have more families come out and help with a family flavor!
