💚 A Goodbye to a Chapter I Will Never Forget 💚

I’ve started this post probably a hundred times, and every time I find myself getting emotional because I don’t think there are enough words to truly explain what Lakesite Nutrition has meant to me over the past six years.

After six years, Lakesite Nutrition is entering a new chapter with new owners.

And while I know this is the right time for a new beginning, saying goodbye is so much harder than I ever imagined it would be.

When I opened those doors six years ago, I thought I was opening a business. I had no idea I was opening the door to some of the most meaningful relationships and memories of my life.

You all became so much more than customers. You became my people. You became my friends. You became family. ❤️

There were days when I walked through those doors carrying things in my heart that none of you knew about. And somehow, a simple conversation, a hug, a smile, or hearing “the usual” could completely change my day.

I’ve gotten to watch your families grow. I’ve celebrated your good news, listened when life was hard, laughed until my stomach hurt, and shared so many little moments that probably seemed ordinary at the time—but that I will treasure forever.

There are so many faces, names, stories, and memories that I will carry with me long after I turn the key for the last time as the owner.

And honestly… that is the hardest part.

It’s not the building. It’s not the business.

It’s you. ❤️

It’s going to be strange not seeing your faces come through those doors. Strange not making your favorite drink. Strange not hearing your stories and asking how your day is going.

Lakesite Nutrition became a little piece of my heart, and you are the reason why.

I want every single person who has ever walked through those doors to know how deeply grateful I am. Thank you for trusting me. Thank you for supporting my dream. Thank you for choosing my little business when you had so many other choices.

Thank you for the conversations, the laughter, the tears, the hugs, the friendships, and for allowing me to be a small part of your lives.

You supported me through six years of my life, and in so many ways, you carried me through them. I hope you know that.

As hard as it is to close this chapter, I am choosing to be grateful instead of sad. Grateful that I got to experience something so special. Grateful that a business could turn into a community. Grateful that I got to meet so many incredible people.

And most of all, grateful that for six beautiful years, I got to call Lakesite Nutrition mine—and I got to call all of you my family. 🥹💚

Please welcome and support the new owners as they begin their journey with Lakesite Nutrition. I hope you will love them, encourage them, and continue making that little place feel like home.

I may be handing over the keys Sept 1st, but I will never hand over the memories.
