To everyone asking about our grand opening date… ❤️
I love you all, and I want to share everything happening behind the scenes at Shawarma Queen.
We took this restaurant completely from scratch and rebuilt everything from the ground up — the floors, ceilings, walls, plumbing, electrical work, brand new men’s and women’s restrooms, the indoor and outdoor kitchen, the hood system, fire system, and every single detail you can imagine.
At every step, we had to follow city regulations, inspections, and approvals. Nothing can move forward without passing all official inspections and requirements.
I’m happy to share that:✅ We passed the city inspection on the 19th✅ We passed the fire inspection on the 20th✅ Electricity meters were connected today✅ Gas service has also been connected
What’s left now is:• Final inspection after furnishing• Health department approval after inspection
Our original plan was to have the Grand Opening on 5/26, but the date has been adjusted to the first half of June to make sure everything is absolutely perfect for you and your families.
Starting tomorrow, workers will begin:• Installing the Coca-Cola carbonation machine• Completing the restaurant electrical setup• Testing the AC system• Final cleaning• Furniture installation
I truly miss you all and can’t wait to see everyone again.
You are the reason the food truck grew into a real restaurant built for your comfort and for your families. I have always considered myself part of this community and part of your family.
